Young Yim Doh, Ph.D. in Psychology
I am a lifespan developmental psychologist researching the intersection of gaming and real-life experiences. My work examines how digital game environments foster personal growth, social connection, and inclusive participation across the lifespan. Using mixed-methods and participatory design, I analyze player behaviors, transformative experiences, and the sustainability of gaming communities amid technological and market shifts.
My goal is to advance knowledge that supports the creation of accessible, inclusive, and sustainable digital spaces, enhancing individual well-being and community resilience.
